The KDX did have lights. Power is not bad, but really wakes up when uncorcked. Pipe, silencer, jetting and remove the airbox cover. It didnt share anything with the 200/220 and the frame is differant from the same year KX's. The one your looking at has KX 500 side panels and possibly the rear fender. It was heavy compared to the same year 250 enduros from the other brands and steered a bit on the slow side due to the seat/tank. One complaint that I remember was that the tank was large and mounted too far back not letting the rider slide forward when cornering. The Yamaha WR250 suffered from the same problem. It was much easier to fix the yamaha by just putting a YZ seat and tank on it. Cant be done with the KDX, atleast not easily. My friend had a 92 KDX250 and it was a good reliable bike. He raced enduros on it and did well. The one in the picture looks pretty hammered, look it over real close if you decide to buy it.
