Back in the saddle
« on: December 23, 2007, 02:23:21 AM »
Hello all. I started riding dirt bikes 25+ years ago as a young teen, then girls and cars came along and I stopped riding. I got back into bikes 7 years ago with a freebee KZ650, then I bought a ZRX1200. Now my sons wanted dirt bikes, and I got the bug again. My oldest son is getting an old (but in good shape) KX80 for Christmas and the youngest, a DS80. I got myself an old KX125. Its a little bit more beat up then I thought, but I'll turn her around.

Hello there and Welcome to the madness...  hehehe. Exactly why I got back into riding awhile back, for my kids that wanted to start riding dirt bikes.

Be careful with that KX125, it might sound small or be a bit of a junker, but can still throw you on yer a$$...  I picked up an old YZ125 as my "get to know the dirt again" bike and didn't take it as serious as I should of and have some scars to show for it...  lol.

Have a good time and take any info here with a grain of salt, or a Vodka Spritzer if appropriate...

Right now, its alot of a junker, but I'll fix that. I'm well aware of the power it has, the KX80 I got for my son picks up the front tire with no trouble, so I'll be ready for the 125. I'm a little worried about him on the 80 however.....
