FMF washer that comes with the pipe

Anyone ever use the washer that comes with the FMF fatty pipe? smooths out the power so they say, its an 03 250. if so is it worth the hassle of pulling off the right side cover.  Thanks

FWIW, I have a Fatty on my 99 kx250, w/o the washer. What I did was install a 11oz. flywheel weight, and went up 2 teeth in the rear. The power comes on more like a 4 stroke now, and with a larger rear sprocket, I have fairly good power down low. BTW, the fww was a snap to install.
