Does anybody know If 1987 pastic side panels will fill on a 1986?

Hi thanks for your help. There is a new set of plastics on ebay for a 1987. They are only going for $5 plus $10 shipping. I guess someone with a 1987 kx will get a good deal.

By the way hughes nice bike. Where can I get a bigger gas tank for my 1986? I like your tank. I ride in the woods so your set up is what I would like for my bike.

Call IMS and see if they have one for your bike. I called them and they still make them for my bike but nobody sells them but denniskirk.com has just started carrying them. Mine is alittle faded but I got it off e-bay for 50.00 bucks. Try Clark Manufacturing they may still make tanks for your bike. IMS is getting 225.00 for the tank on my bike. On some things I have learned to call these companies and ask questions. I called pro circuit about a pipe for my bike and they had a works pipe laying on the pipe rack(no retailer had or sells a pipe for the 87 bike) but they will willing to make me a coated pipe. So it never hurts to call.

Yea I saw the one on denniskirk but $230 is too much for me to spend on a tank. I am going to have to keep an eye out on ebay.
