KX125 Impressive

Okay, never owned a 2-stroke before.  I'm VERY impressed with this little bad-boy.

Started out with some jetting problems, but a simple shim and we're flying.  Scared myself popping the clutch :)

Wasn't expecting much - that'll teach me.

Kinda glad I couldn't sell it now :)

I just took my top end to phathead racing last week and it's getting a 134cc treatment and will be done in 2 weeks. Total cost of kit, parts and labor is $385 OTD. Can't beat that one. But I already have the head and domes otherwise it's $500 for the same. Any bigger and you run into powervalve issues.

I agree, i would not go bigger than 134. If you get case mods with it, the throttle response becomes very good. FPMXer, did you go with a sleeve or a replate?

This doesn't really apply to your situation but if you have an 03 - 06 KX125, and a lot of cash ($2,000) these guys have a 151cc big bore kit.

I got the KX134 running this past week and took her to the track today. What a difference 10cc's make. It pulls longer and harder through the gears. But after riding the 450 with Enzo suspension and then riding the 134 with stock suspension is a big difference. I have to get the 134's suspension to Enzo as soon as I get the cash. I turned the clickers almost all the way in to get a better ride. But if you have a 125 and are looking more power and about $500 laying around contact Paul at phatheadracing and git-er-done. :-D
