My bike runs a 110/100/18 that teraflex tire is a 150/90/18. It's not as big around as what should be on my bike. Will this cause any issues running a 90 instead of a 100?

The tire sizes are metric.
For a  150/90/18 tire;
150 is the width in millimeters (25.4 mm per inch or 5.9 inches wide) usually not including the knobs.  This is not an exact measurment since a 120 Dunlop will not be the same width as a 120 Bridgestone or 120 Kenda or whatever.  They are close but not the same.  Sort of like MX boots.

90 is the aspect ratio, the tire is 90 percent as tall (from the bead to the tread) as it is wide (150 X 0.9 = 135 mm or 5.3 in)

18 is rim diameter.

To Compare
110/100/18 is 4.3" wide and 26.7 inches in diameter, not including the knobs.

150/90/18   is  5.9" wide and 28.6 inches in diameter, but the knobs on the Terraflex are at least a half inch taller than most other tires, so the overall diameter is probably 3 inches taller than the 110 tire.

I have a Terraflex on my DRZ.  I don't have a 18" rim for my KX but the swingarm is wide enough.  It will probably rub the stock silencer a little bit.  Just don't run the axle all the way forward in the adjusters or your mudflap might get ripped off when the suspension compresses.  But you could rent the bike out as a Ditch Digger with a TerraFlex on it. :-D

Thanks for the good info. I think here in the next month or so I am going to get that 150/90/18 teraflex. I want a ditch digger. I want the sight of the rear tire to put fear in most. :evil:

The type 1 was the tire I had on my husky and was what I was looking for when I bought the milville. I did a search but couldn't find anything cause it wasn't looking for it correctly.  Had I Known I could have still have one it would be on there now. If memory serves me it was marketed as a desert/enduro tire with runflat capabilities.

I run a pirrelli scorpian up front had a metzler on rare when i got z 5 hundie and it ended up bald as bald still hung on real well round the track with the side nobs,just fitted a dunlop to the rear and the old boy who recomended the dunlop looked up his charts and discovered that the old metzler i was replacing was way to wide compared to the original factory suggested width.
