Best pic for rear tire?

<< < (4/6) > >>

hughes:
How wide is the 560? Is it equal to a 120 or a 130, 140? How heavy are these tires? My Maxxis IT seems heavy. I really like the nasty and gnarly look of that tire. I only trail ride so the extra weight might not even effect me.

Norway:
I`m running a 150 tire at the moment, with spikes. No clearanse problem.

Paul:
Hughes, the 5.60 means 5.60" ;)

hughes:
That 150 is not that wide if it's only a 5.60. I guess it depends how they measure them. My 110 rear(not wide enough)was 5.0 from knobbie to kobbie. Does anybody know how the tire companies measure the tire width?

My bike runs a 110/100/18 that teraflex tire is a 150/90/18. It's not as big around as what should be on my bike. Will this cause any issues running a 90 instead of a 100?

Spider:
This chart is about the best I've found. It only goes to 120 but you'll get the idea. The 150 relates how wide it is 90 is for height and the two numbers are relative (I think)  :|

I have enough trouble with inches and pounds without thinking about meters and kilos.

How American of me
