2stroke oil
zert:
Hi,i've got a question. What kind of oil is kawasaki using because in the specifications they recommend 1/32 premix.I used motul 800(Belgium,whe have no amsoil)1/50 and they(dealer) told me that i have to use what kawa suggest,1/32 for the bearings. So now is the question,is it safe to ride on 1/50 premix?I used the bike 90% for road(supermotard).Question number 2,yesterday whe went for a ride,140km and a high tempo. Now i have a leak between the engine and the cylinder, all the bolds are tighten.Could it be that the engine become too hot and that the gasket is damaged? But it was a nice ride,1 2stroke between 4 4strokers.

Yes any synthetic reputable oil is cool. These days 32:1 is very a rich mix. Any good brand that states a ratio of of 50:1 or better would be recomended. Just follow the guide on the bottle.

I am going to amsoil saber 100 Professional and I am going to mix it at 80:1 and that is considered very fat!

does synthetic oil smoke as much as regular 2 stroke oil ? I know when I run mine bike at 32\1 with Maxima it smokes like crazy . I can't imagine running at 80\1 and wouldn't you worry about fouling plug's running that much oil ?
