Cylinder showed up today.Just can't beat the look of a fresh plated and honed cylinder. They even bead blasted it inside and out. 160.00 and they paided for next day shipping back to me. I hope here real shortly to get this engine back together. I got my frame painted but keep getting cold temps here on the weekends and I can't get the right temp so I can clear coat it. I just can't wait to fire this new enigne up. Check out lukes if you are in need of a replate.

Timbowe:
Clear coat!  Shes gonna be flash. !

Very nice! I agree about the plating. In my gallery, I have a freshly built cylinder with new plating. Can't beat it. Especially when you fire it up and it has all that compression off the line. Great feeling.

What type of clear coat? Which will hold up to some engine heat.

Timbowe:
I'm no paint specialist, but I use POR 15 alot for hard wearing surfaces and stuff that is generally gonna get a hard time. www.por15.com    Check out thier product called Glisten PC. POR15 I have used is top stuff. Hammer tough. I painted a bit of leftover on the vice in the shed about 6 years ago. Any one who is interested in the stuff, I let them have a crack at it with the hammer. Still no sign of cracking or any degradation at all. Check it out.
