to idle or not?

Even in my MX glory days I always had my bike idle.  Supercross may be different. Cam.

A bike that wont idle is RELAY annoying.

I'm not really wondering if a bike should idle but rather if throttle response is better without it.

edkx, I have nothing to compare mine too, but throttle response is great on mine with an idle. I'm not sure I could hold on to much more than I have.
  Snow season is natures way of letting my body heal. I hit less trees this year. LOL
