1998 kx125 rear shock swap

Hi all,

This is my first thread, and I would love your help, I am from Chile and here its to difficult to find parts for my kx125 1998, it need a new rear shock, but i can't find it used, so my question is can I use another KYB rear shock maybe from an YZ o  Cr  of the same or other year?

Hi just get your original shock refurbished, add Racetech valves and get a correct weight spring for your weight! If it is beyond repair (I doubt it is) take a look at this http://oem-cycle.com/KAWASAKIKX500BIKEID.shtml or go on the Kawasaki website for spares, open up tabs and compare part numbers between model years!
