Ventura Magnum

Hola Friends, long time member, first time poster. Current 1991 KX500 owner. I have one 2 other green monsters and have ALWAYS regretted selling them. I love these bikes and will hopefully keep this one forever! It is pretty USED and somebody painted the frame and forks trying to look "new". The kx250 rear fender doesn't help either. STOP DOING THAT, PEOPLE!! Anyhow, any tips or hacks on the 91' I will appreciate. The x-oner swears it needs a top end? I haven't ridden it yet, but I'm hoping some basic maintenance and a KPS clean will suffice. Thanks again. Moose[/img][/img]

welcome to the site!

it's a lot of reading...but Motorrad gave us an awesome build thread....read it, it's very detailed!

Sandblaster might chime in too...it really depends on what you're looking for as far as power delivery...and what type of riding you'll be doing, so you make the power in the correct ranges of the power curve, so that you get the most outa your motor.

the rear fender mod is a "personal preference" thing...as there's several of us running them on here...and there's several that don't like it...
I myself, love the look.
