Can this case be fixed??

cmotodad:
You are saying to peen the case surface, use bearing retaining compound on the bearing and re-install? Am I correct? I am taking an engine apart and may have the same issue. Thanks

kxpegger:
Green Loctite. Downside is the bearing won't be coming back out of the case anytime soon!

No. Not green.....  Not fuel stable.

You want this

Lon:
Awesome and thanks so much guys  :-)  ..I'll get the loctite retaining compound and im sure the bearing will come back out with heat if I ever need to change it again,Map-Gas works awesome ..

Motorrad:
Just make sure you dimple (peen) that bearing surface good...   And press the bearing in with both case and bearing same temp nice and square. (Use a good press).    The loctite doesn't like the heat freeze method.......  Don't forget the crank seal ;0)
