Interesting, I've pulled a few sets and they were all identical.
Then I came across a used cylinder that I picked up that was heavily ported, had steel valves and an operating rod with different timing gears from the usual steel or aluminum sets I previously had.
The cylinder had no kips stamp and had a serial number stamped into the left hand side.
