I have a Magura clutch on my '97 500 works good  I recently tried the cable re-routing idea that was posted somewhere in the forum and have found it to work just as well as the Magura hyd clutch. If you do go for a Magura , watch the alignment of the pull rod on the slave cyl. going to the clutch arm on the engine. It needs some finesing to pull straight. Magura sends a little drawing that shows cleaning up the clutch arm with a Dremel tool but that is not enough. I have broken a pull rod on a slave cyl and had to have Magura send me a new one , a little bit of a pain.
