Canadian k-5er
« on: January 11, 2014, 03:26:31 PM »
I've been watching this forum for a while.    My name is Ian and I have an 88 500.    Love the ride and felt I should join.
I read some stuff on whoops and corners and went to a sand pit  and practiced for a while today.   In a rain and wind storm.
Part of why I went with a big bore was that I'm 6 foot 4 and roughly 290 to 300 lbs.     Always got dusted When on a 250.
Blah blah blah.   Watching round 2 of the ama moto in phoenix.
Site rocks.     Love you guys.     Yes I'm drinking.   Ian

The four stroke engine: That's one stroke for producing power and three for wearing the engine out.

I live in Vancouver  BC.   That track is in an area called chilliwack.    About an hour away.    Popkum motocross track is what it's called.    Super mild winter and most guys with sleds are back on quads or bikes.
I have borrowed my bosses rmk 900.    That's a hefty 2 stroker. I am a little tall for sledding.   About 6'4".    Maybe more.   Down to 280 from 310.

Chains!   And I park my wife's Honda civic right in tight also.   I'll make it hard as heck to take and have a scratched car to show for it.
Thanks for posting sandblaster and I'm lovin the parts.  I have not put the new rad in yet but it's going to happen soon.
My boss lending me his old sled.    It's his ex wife's 600 cc Polaris  something.    Old like 2009.    Wow.
Now this I'm worried about.     Maybe I'll even take a pic if it doesn't kill me.   Thanks again.
