You won't really know until you get em together. That being said they are made to go as a set, that's the reason Kawasaki doesn't sell just a right or left. I was faced with the same decision and ended up going with a matched set used. Pm sandblaster he may have a used set.

Sold them all...
Sorry...

kawasaki typically sells them as a set, supposedly they are line bored together to ensure true. Having said that I am sure they will fit and you probably won't have a problem

Had a friend push the crank bearing through the case and shatter it on the exact same bike.
He bought me another case half on Ebay.
2 years later I've still had no issues with a set of mismatched cases.

It is a real point of contention amongst different people whether or not you can or should break up a set.
Years ago I only sold case sets.
In fact I had many, many people upset that I wouldn't split them up (Everyone needs a left).
Eventually I got in some case sets that one side or the other was bad and I didn't want to toss away a otherwise perfectly good case set.
So I sold a few.
No returns...
So, I listed more and more individual cases.
No returns...
I decided at that point to list all of the separately.
In all the years and countless cases I've sold (Many thousands) I had one come back that didn't fit the customers bike.
When I got it back I sold it to someone else with no problems.
Does this mean that I wouldn't rather have a matching set in my own bike?
No, I would always want a matching set if I had the option.
Would I run a mismatched set if I had to?
Absolutely.

One word.  Kx cases.    Mains and seals are machined from inside.     How would you line bore that as a set
