...add the coil and you have finally changed the complete ignition system, but this make sure all is working correctly... :wink: ... yes, older cdi has 5 wires white/red, white/green, black/yellow and 2x black/white...

Actually the older has 6 wires and the newer has 5, you have all except the black to the coil, the newer has 5 wires same except no white green. and I'm pretty sure the change happened in 1990, check your shop manual on the electrical diagram.
