Hi, Luckily I stumbled onto this site by accident. I thought I was the only guy left who yerned for big bore 2-stroke power nowadays, Havent seen one around here in a decade or so. After a long (12 years) absence from my favorite thing in the motorcycle world, I'm back on a KX 500. I bought a new one in '88 and '91, raced moto-x until '93, hurt my knee and got out of it and have missed it since. I made the mistake of stopping by the local K-shop recently and saw a new one on the floor! I thought those things were long gone by now. Well that was the begining of something that I could not control!!!!! I suddenly found myself thinking about those 3rd gear motocross starts that, if I did my part right, no one could even think about beating me to the first turn. The any gear, roll on wheelie's.
The complaints from all of the 125-250 riders about the "wall of earth" coming at them when I was in front of them. Needless to say I had it bad, I found a '00 model in primo condition with pro curcit exhaust and bought it. I forgot what PURE BRUTE HORSEPOWER felt like. Anyway, I'll quit slobbering for now, glad to see that there are other big bore freaks out there ripp'in it up. See ya, Randy.
