Tire size?

What rear tire size do you guys use for desert riding?

I don't want to change to a 18" wheel now.
Just wondering the size, not the type.

The stock on the 04' KX5 is 120/90/19
was thinking of going a bit wider???

Mines a 120 but you might want to measure if its a european made tire.  Ive seen a bunch of Michelins lately that have separate sizing stickers put on, ie. it said 140 in the tire but had a 120 sticker on it.  Maybe this is only in Canada Eh! Cam.

Is the 140/80 taller as well as wider?

I have used the Michelin M12 for years, and the largest size is a tire for a 250.  It's comparable to the 110/90x19.  I stopped using the 120's because of the lack of availability of a good selection of tires.  I had thought that the 250 tire would go away quickly, but I don't seem to use any more tires a year than before (4 rear tires and 2 front tires per year).
