With the stock tank there's good enough clearance to get the boot off and on but still a little tight. With the Clarke 3.2 gallon there's actually a lot more clearance and very easy to access the plug. My AF is an "08".

We warmed up the bulge in the tank with a heat gun (no open flame) and when it started to get soft, hold a wooden dowl against it just enough to clear. Allow it to cool and viola clearance. We just did this last night, search "juggernaut" here.
