Title: FMF universal muffler/ silencer 200-500cc?

Hey,

does anybody have that FMF universal muffler/ silencer/ spark arrestor? Is it a good buy? My 91 KX250 project only has a FMF gold series pipe and the bike didn't come with a silencer and I don't know what other silencer would fit that pipe :|

any after market silencer for that year year bike should fit. FMF didnt have any specific silencer for there pipes till 2003

When I looked at the FMF website there is no silencer listed for the 91 only a fatty pipe. I don't really want to gamble around and just buy a silencer... does a stock silencer fit the FMF pipe? Then again there are almost none for sale, anybody know if other years fit, too?

yes a stock silencer will fit but i would check ebay. I know your gonna have a hard time findin a new one as most of that stuff hasnt been made in a while

Thanks, I think I'll go with either a stock one from the 90-92 year range or a newer FMF and make the mountings fit, there are plenty on ebay but the shipping to Canada is always a deal breaker :x

The universal FMF one retails here for $156 cad so I'm sure I can find something cheaper.
