hello my name is jeff,live in california ,my pride and joy is a 1997 kx 500, had it about 5 years and love the crap out of it , do mostly desert riding,but starting to go to dunes alot more . can`t keep the front end down in sand. a little about me , 39 soon to be 40 ,not your typical 500 rider cause i only weigh about 130  and about 5`4 so i`m the little guy with the biggist,nastiest,machine built , call me crazy(or stupid) but gotta love the POWER.

Let's see Jeff from those measurements you sound like a Bull Rider, yeah that's what you are on the K5,,, a Bull Rider.

Welcome to the site. In this case size does not matter. Look up another Jeff (Jeff Ward) on you tube and watch how he handled the KX500 in the outdoor. He's about your size.
