Me and my father are making a motocross track in the back yard. All we using is a front end loader and our tractor that just has a plow on it. in about 2 weeks when its done im going to upload a helmet cam of me riding it. Picture below is what we are basing it off of

Would love to see picture or video. I been planning on making a track at my hose but have no idea where to start nor the heavy equipment.
-
all we got to work on the track are these two tractors. in the link is a video i took riding my 125 and holding my phone putting around the track. this is 1 good hard day of working on it. no done yet lol still need to at 2 more turns and all the whoops and jumps. sorry for the crappy video but u try riding a bike and hold your phone in the other hand :-P

That might work depending on how loose your soil is. Is it dry there or do you get lots of rain, cause it will take a while to setup, do you have access to lots of water to sprinkle it wet? The grass looks like it will be tough to breakup. Good luck post progress.
-
yea we get a decent amount of rain. the grass looks the way it does its because the grass was about 3 feet tall and we just mowed it down a couple of days ago.

cool wish i had track in my yard good job

Cool track! I have about a mile of trail on my property so far. I have about 8.5 acres but most was under water and we put in trail where we could. We are on the verge of a drought right now so hopefully this winter I can add quite abit more. Also the ticks and chiggers will be of no concern. All bar banging tight! I might put in a small endurocross section on the edge of my yard by the woods and tie it in with the loop.

Looks great, although it may be a bit busy. The funnest MX tracks are the ones that flow well. If your planning on holding races, make sure there the track is wide enough for multiple lines in the corners, not much worse than being on a one lined track behind a slower rider. A slow steep "crowd pleaser" in front of the stands is always fun.
Water runoff is a big concern too, low spots are bad when it rains, perfectly watered tracks with big mud puddles before the jumps suck. Good luck, hope it works out.

I went up in the U.P. for a week so i have no had time to work on the track and now that school started today i will have less time to work on it. We got to turns left to finish the track then just need to had woops and jumps. once thats all done just gotta keep riding on it so it takes more form. we took off the dirt from the burms and made a table top out of it. we thought that if you just keep riding on it a burm will form naturally.
-
looks like a lot of whoops and rythm sections. i agree on having a steep crowd pleaser although looks like the track is just for your guy's enjoyment. ive allways wanted to do this! im super jealous!

haha yea its naturally bumpy. coming out of the turns popin a wheelie. but man its some hard work lol.
