HELLO
im making kxf450 -07 conversion
only problem is rubber between carb and air filter cover.
i tried cr250 -93 rubber but its terrible.
can anyone help.

I've just finished the same conversion 450-07 chassis and used the 2000 CR250 boot, it depends on how much you have tilted your engine forwards or backwards. Mine is forwards so the gap is just too much to reach the carb, so had to make an aluminium spacer to slide over the carb intake. With the engine more upright it should fit perfectly.
Have a look at Benny Lindberg's site, he has documented the same build, it was our bible.

There was a post here not to long ago where an AF project was done with a KX250 boot and it seemed to have a much better fit...didn't end up compressed/rubbing up against the frame. This is what my Service Honda 500AF does. I keep a close eye on it in case it wears through and starts sucking dirt!
