Man I lucked out with this bike. Still has original tires, air filter, everything. This bike is mint in every way. Can't wait for the snow here in Colorado to melt already!
Only mod on the bike is a full FMF system.
Pics to follow....

RM, that sounds like a sweet bike! I am jealous. Can't wait to see photos. B.O.

I hate to pick on someone new because I really think that the more active people on this forum, the better it is, but.....
"RM_Rider" as your handle on the KX site? :?
Welcome, though. Waiting anxiously for pics.

No nerve touched here, I just thought it was weird. The best I could figure was that someone was messing with me, but that didn't make much sense either. Too obscure.
The person that posted that in the place that you got it from probably mixed up some riding areas. Saint Mary's Glacier is about 40 miles from where we were that day.
Anyway, welcome aboard, and feel free to use that pic for your avatar. The guy in the mirror won't care either!

I understand that, but mine was *new* also. Under 25 hours on the bike. Not 1 scratch on the frame underneath it, or anywhere on it for that matter. Original tires, air filter, plug etc. New as can be without being *new*.

I do believe a NZ dollar is worth significantly less than a US or CDN dollar.

It is, but $10,500(NZD) is still $7526.41(USD)

heres some pictures of the "new" 2002 KX500 for sale in new zealand, and its 71 us cents to our new zealand dollar,so this would cost us$7,474 what a bargin!!
