Title: Brake pedal
Post by: kx250gr on November 29, 2009, 06:50:08 AM
Hi, to all of you, today in my ride in one big jumb i broke the front part of the brake pedal(fortunately, only that). I search to the bay and internet and i did not find anything in the price that i waited for. I forgot to say that i have a KX240 model '94. What year model fits the brake pedal with mine. Some parts that i find was cost about 70 $, i think that is expensive. If someone finds anything cheaper please reply. Thanks in advance.

P.s. Forgive me for my english i am from Greece.

80 $??  :? For one lever? I think this price is expensive....

Except that this site for international orders says " The order must be greater that $150.00" and as i said i am from Greece, so i cant buy only this item.

Can anyone find this item in e-bay with lower price? If yes please let me know.

KX250gr,
I would suggest getting it welded - if you have all the pieces.  A good welder should be able to repair it without it looking too ugly. Hope this helps. Cam.

Hi KX250gr,
How did you go with the welding?

I have a pedal from a 1991KX250 and a 1987(?)KX125. You can have them both for $US10.00 plus the freight cost from New Zealand.

Cheers

Yes.  File some teeth in the top and polish it up and most people will not even notice. Beats buying one. Cam.

Hi kx250gr

I finally found one of my old pedals today. Not sure what year it's off but it definitely looks older than yours.
