Hello, My name is Dan Brunett. I'm from Dayton Ohio and just recently started riding again after many many years away from the sport. I stopped riding when my kids were born about twenty years ago but now my son has got me hooked again. I'm a little old school in my choice of bikes so I bought a 1989 KX 250 to rebuild. It has a lot of new parts and plastics but I'm gonna tear it apart and fix whatever I find. Anyone know of any quirks with this bike and want to share info I'd sure appreciate any help.
Anyway, just wanted to say hello and thanks for the welcome!

Dan,
Welcome to the club, There are lots of us "Old Guy's" hanging out here.
I think there are more than a few of us who will agree going through the bike right off will save
time and frustration . There will probably be some more guys chiming in after the holiday weekend who may be able to help on the 250. Glad to have you with us.

Welcome Dayton Dan. Sounds like a good plan to go through your bike first, you should be able to get years of enjoyment from it when your finished.
