Hi there amazing and very intresting site. Just got a 2001 KX5, last one was a 1987 18 years ago been away from it for a while and started again 4 years back with a 1981 maico 490 then got a Crf 450 and now on my second one. Just got my Kx500 last week and taking it out for a ride tommorow with a pal. Also taking out the Crf for a comparrison. Live in the Orkney Islands in the North of Scotland where there is a large motocross club and racing scene where we have access to a varying types of tracks and once a year our annual beach race.

 Welcome CB,
 Glad to have you along. There are a bunch of us who had quite a spell out of the dirtbike scene
and returned to something we enjoyed so much as youngsters.

Wet sand is a blast to ride on.  We ride the rivers here in Oklahoma and sometimes we get rained on in the sand dunes in N.W. Oklahoma.
My buddie Scott on the quad and Nate on his 350X three wheeler.
And Yes I sometimes ride my Honda, raft, beached  on a sand bar some kids must have built.
