What radiator hoses are you using for your conversions?

Service Honda:  http://www.servicehonda.com/index.html

Call the parts department and tell them what you are doing, they will point you in the right direction.

So they use a special configuration or is it a combination of the stock hoses?

Lumpy,
From the post & pics here on the forum its a combination of both. If you search here you will see pics a statements on what has to be changed and whats the same.
The member AJ here is the man behind Service Honda/Kawasaki & the one responsible for getting the aluminum framed 500s to everyone (like me)that does not have the Fab talent to make his own. I know they are running a different hose from the pump to the cylinder (the neck is rotated 180) & they are swapping radiators (left to right / right to left?) which I would assume would need different hoses as well. Poke around on the site & you will see plenty of pics to answer your question.
Hope the info is of help.
