Hey everyone, I just got my first KX500. I'm 16 and my name is Kayne, I'm from pennsylvania. This is my first big bike, I don't have any fields to even open the beast up. The bike is a 89, but Its in really good shape, the guy that owned it barely rode it, but who has a bike that long and does nothing to it? Thats why I think it has engine work. I know it has a pro-circuit platium pipe and a FMF shorty silencer, but for engine work i'm not sure. But it ripes like hell in the fields, I can shoot a rooster tail in all gears, no one around here has anything as fast. Anyways I just wanted to make my first post and say hi to all the kawasaki fans! Take Care All!

Welcome in Kayne.

Hope you enjoy your new bike and find these forums usefull in future.

You might find that the KX won't need much in the way of engine work as they are a bit of a handfull even when bog standard :D
