I've just joined up here so thought I'd say hello and introduce myself. Just got myself an old 93kx250 and gonna have a bash at club motocross again, I've done about 2yrs when i was 16-18 but gave up due to funds (or other priorities lol) and returned from 89-95 (maico500, ktm500, cr500, cagiva 250, ktm 500),but only had road bikes since then. I live on Orkney (a group of islands just off the North of Scotland) that has a great MX club with one of the best tracks in the UK as their home track (venues held all over the Islands thanks to supporting landowners). Also have 2 ZRX1100s and a Z1100R turbo drag bike while the GF has a little 400 Eliminator as well as a few other makes I forget about in the shed so feel free to ask if anybody wants to know anything as I'm also in the ZRXOC and KZ Riders forums as well as Ford Transit (Vans). At the moment the season is 4 weeks away and I need to source a replacement shock but not complaining as the old girl is in pretty good shape for her years although I think she might have a 1990 heart in her. I've had a look around and all I can say is big respect folks! You've got some nice bikes out there

Welcome from Cali, I spent about 2 months traveling all over scotland last winter.  Nice country nice people wish i had a bike over there I would have love to moto over there.

Welcome to this site, from Michigan. Tell me about your riding terrain, I probably will not be able to visit Scotland, so your description will be my only insight.

Mostly tracks take advantage of the natural terrain with a few having some man made features added

here is a link to some pics of the type of track we have here and if you google images "Orkney" you will get a good idea of our landscape (not many trees here!  too windy)
