Title: Boyesen rad valve
Post by: Jopiz on January 30, 2009, 07:19:23 AM
Hey!

Does Boyesen rad valve do any difference in throttle response or is it just a stock valve with a cool name? I have heard that the main benefit would be better throttle response and slightly leaner jetting because of better mixture flow trough the reed valve? Worth of 180 bucks? Any experiences?  :|

What type of riding you do?? What skill level? You will see stronger pull through out the power range, really helps over rev and very good throttle response. Worth 180.00 bucks just depends on you and your skill level. I ride more slow tight trails and can't see spending 180.00 bucks when I can just clean up my jetting for good throttle response and power for my type of riding. If you can ride at the pro level on a motocross track I think you would love the benfit of the rad valve.
