As always another AJ work of art.  You should sign each one on the bottom of the seat.
Nothing big just a little "Built by AJ.
There is nothing like a new bike.  Yes they fall in price the minute you sign on the bottom line.  I do allot of riding by myself.  I like the comfort of knowing I will get back to the truck and not be stranded because the previous owner abused the used bike.
I know you can get stranded on a new bike also but the odds are greater that you will get back on the bike you know everything about.  I can tell you about every scratch on both of the new dirt bikes I have bought.
Keep up the good work.

any particular reason for using the 250f chassis? more readily available? cost? easier?

Thanks all,

don46
its more difficult now.
We went to this chassis, mostly due to liking the new 09 KX250F chassis  improvements/handling.(The 09 250F is all new this year)
i've been doing the very good ,solid, 450 kaw chassis a couple years now, and  its unchanged really)

and yes partially due to availibilty.
and in some small way ,also to the ease of selling the take out engines.
a lot more market for 250F engines than 450F engines..
so that makes the project more doable.
( i have to commit to an awful lot of new units from kaw, (or honda) for a year,,long before i know anything how they will go with the public )

The fact the kx250F all new in design and look in 09 ,as well as 250F class handling , is the biggest reason to switch though for sure..
try to keep these great engines in the lastest chassis design that i can..

:)

 AJ,
Brother that looks great, The  craftsmanship is excellent.  I hope the guys who can afford your bikes appreciate what goes into them.
Maybe S.H. should start you a school to pass on the the trade.
When are you guys gonna make a Waggoner/Rouse Special Edition?  You could market it as the AC Cobra of Offroad Motorcycles! 8-)
Thanks for sharing your stuff with us, there are only a handfull of guys who actually build these kind of projects on par with you and the rest of
us can only dream about it.
  Pax Christi,

its a *hose kit* made for our bikes,,

K5abuser-

hey- i had a balked out one posted up here long ago ., with lights etc,,based on the KLX450 frame ;)
and had th eKLX45 0headlight an dtail light..
black bling rims and blacked out *but still bling* frame..

(and yes a full land speed model with a stewart engine would be sweet?)

 AJ,
See what you started!    I Hope your proud of yourself!!!
Now everybody wants one of those contraptions  8-)
When you build the Special Edition Waggoner Rouse  You might consider BIGGER BRAKES!
For that matter put a drag shute as an option on the order form.
All kidding aside, Those puppies are the Red Ryder Carbine with a Compass in the Stock for this 45yr old Big Kid with a paycheck...

P.S.  I love K5Abuser's enthusiasm... but he told Stewart he babied his bikes on test rides too, I think that's how he got his username.
For Pete's Sake Dave BE CAREFUL. !! :-D
