Title: BDI is in love
Post by: BDI on July 08, 2008, 05:00:47 PM
Well maybe not love but definitely heavy lusting. You see I have two basket case kawasaki 750 h2s and for the longest time I have been thinking I was going to build a retro racer but I just have not been inspired, until now. I'm normally not one to copy but this bike is very inspiring, I'm definitely going to use the same tank but I'm thinking mono shock and a small pointy hand hammered aluminum tail. Anyway hear is a vid of the bike it's kinda long and boring but he does ride it in the end. and some good pictures of it at flickr.com too

Nice bike!  I would love to have a bike like that.  Dumb question tho, Is that premix or is there an injector?

BDI,
When I was 19, me and a friend built an iceracer out of a 750 H2 to compete against snomobiles.  I made it go fast and he raced it. It was Scary. We had trouble keeping tires on it. Cam.

 That's cool 8-)
You would not believe the things that people are doing to them now. The stock motors intake is controled by the piston. There are some guys who are adding big flanges to the cylinders so that you can put the v-force kx500 aka jet ski reeds in them. That coupled with head work, some trick port work, big carbs and some pipes. They say they will do power wheelies at over 100 mph.

Cool site.  Sounds like they can do anything.  I like the part in parentheses.
(and your budget permits).

I seem to remember reading that the fastest normally aspirated normal fuel bike in existance is a Kawa H2 running in the seven second bracket for the quarter.

Anyway, that bike looks great, I love it.

BBB looks like you air brushed a little skull and crossbones on the tail, that's pretty funny.
