Title: another newbie

Hey all, i'm 44, I have a 95' 500, bought new in oct. of 96. Has a rocket Rex Staten ported cylinder, balanced crank, (best mod for this bike) scotts suspension, scotts dampner, etc. I bought a new xr 650 r last year and, well, the kx5 is so much better. sorry i bought it now.

Hi Robsauto,welcome!What happened to Rocket Rex,he was doing all kinds of things (racing,jumping ect)a few years back.He ran a DG pipe and had all purple plastic on his K5,last I heard was a ramp jump over cars he did at a speedway.Ive seen him race a vintage class on his old YZ465 lately,but does he still ride a KX500?

Rex is a plumber working on new homes. He does not ride anymore, says he has no time. But he has a late 90's CR 500.
