Do any of you guys ride Hot Well Dunes in AZ?

I live 30 miles from them! :-D  I made a post 2 weeks ago about the sand drags and a lone k5.

So is I think it is open desert like we have outside El Paso in New Mexico. Is there lots of trails or just open desert riding?

Lots of trails, but lots of open desert riding also.  My avatar was actually taken there.  I'll look around for some pics to give you an idea.

There's a couple dunes that aren't really that tall (200ft) and a bunch of sand riding, but there's also a lot of dirt around the West end of the dunes.  I guess it's just pick a line and go.  You really need to be careful of other riders on busy days.  Most of the regular days you have to yourself, though.

I found a couple pretty gnarly dune jumps the last time I went, but wasn't on my bike so I look forward to airing out next time I go.

You probably have to have a myspace account to see them if you link to the whole album like that. It let me go there but I have a Myspace. You can link the URL to each pic in your posts here if you go to the pic, right click on it, go to properties, copy the url address, click the insert image button (http://www.kxriders.com/forums/Themes/default/images/bbc/img.gif) and paste the url address where the cursor is. Hope that helps.
