Title: Will a motor out of a 97 kx125 fit in a 93 kx 125??

I was wondering if the whole motor itself out of a 1997 kx 125 would bolt right up to the frame of a 1993 kx 125?
Im thinking of just swapping out the old motor with the one from a 1997 kx 125. Anyone know if this will work?

No, it won't.  89-94 frames were way different than 95 on.

The frames may be differant but the motors could be very similar. Case dimensions etc.

They aren't the same. 95 on is a perimeter frame. The mounts won't be the same.  There is definitely a width difference.
