Title: How much gear oil for my '92
Post by: *Jonathan on April 23, 2007, 12:52:18 AM
Hello all,

I'm about to change the gear oil in my new to me 1992 Kx125. The bike didnt come with an owners manual and I dont see any markings near the fill plug. Does anyone know the proper amount of oil to use for this year? Also.. how far up on the round window should the oil be? When I got it, the oil was black and filled up the entire circle.

Thanks,
Jonathan

P.S I searched. :-)

Just drain out the old oil, and fill until the glass is full.

My Clymer only goes to 1991.  It shows 700cc/23.7ounces for a '91 KX125.  I fill my bikes till a small bubble is all you can see in the top of the window.
