Title: kx 250 98 model excesive white smoke

Hi All,

I have a KX 250 98 Model, and it has been playing up the problem is excesive white smoke, I have done the following

moved needle jet top settin,
cleaned filter,
adjusted air screw,

please can anyone out there help me out :?

We need more information.  Has the bike been properly warmed up?  What remix are you runnung, and at what ratio.  If the smoke is white, it may be a bad crank seal that's allowing gear lube into the combustion chamber, check the gear oil level.  Another option is to check the fluid level of the raditors.  Are you sure its white smoke, and not steam?.

The bike is getting warmed up ok , it?s running 4 fluid to one gallon of petrol, someone said to me it could be head gaskets blown and leaking???

it is defo white smoke..
