Title: '04 KX250 Repair Manual
Post by: BrokenSpoke on December 29, 2006, 11:13:23 AM
I have looked everywhere online for a service manual for this bike, not the little green one that come with it but what they use at the shop, without any success.  Found one for an 04 KX250F, but not for the 2 strtoke.  Any suggestions?

I ended up buying one from here:

The price was good and delivery fast.

How was the content?  Is it a quality product?

it's a genuine Kawasaki shop manual, I've not seen any others to compare
it to, but so far it's been pretty detailed.
I stripped my KX right down and replaced all the bearings in the frame and
linkage, as well as a the forks, seals / new oil etc.
see here:

The manual worked fine  :-D

Thanks for the input. Looks like I will be ordering one from there also.  I also read your thread on the bike tear down, great job!

I also appreciate the link.  I bought a manual on cd off of Ebay recently which in the title description said 2003-2006 Kx250 Kx250F and in the listing said if your model was listed above then it was included, well needless to say it was just for the 250F and did not include the 250 2-stroke. Live and learn.

Thanks for the update.  Your local dealer should have been able to get you one.  You can also order them from www.buykawasaki.com.  I have looked on the parts info to see the part number for the manual, then order it from www.ronayers.com to save a couple of dollars.
