If money was no object what would your dream machine be ? Mine is a nice example of a 70 - 74 camaro Z28 or SS camaro manual big block,i know there are plenty in the states but quite rare here in New Zealand, supercars are kool but some good old american muscle would do this kiwi to go with his big bore bike, whats your pick ? 8-)
-
An aluminum framed KX500! My motor, works suspension. The frame and all other aluminum would be polished of course.
-
Wow, I've pretty much had all I've wanted. But, if I had a car I really wanted it would be an Enzo. Aside from that, life has been decent to me except for taking my riding areas. :-)
-
Arigato even more power to weight ratio - yee haa
Gowen that must be frustrating having no off road riding to "air your 500 out" good thing you have got that hot looking R1 to soften the blow a little. How would your R1 go against the prancing horse to the ton ? 8-)
-
I would want one of these cars.
Koenigsegg - (http://www.koenigsegg.com/graphics/ccx_black.jpg)
Toyota Supra 98 Single t88 turbo conversion with every mod possible 1k Horsepower
Nissan Skyline GTR - With same mods as supra
Ferrari Enzo - Cept Id make em paint it black or silver
-
Air that is one sweet ride,How much ? :-D

288 GTO This is me. Rare, Fast, Beautifull, and good all round Ferrari. One Day..? In the mean time I'm doing up a Alfa GTV6. Also rare, fast, And nice looking. We could be happy together, providing I can get enough $$ to sort out a few little probs. Fully recoed the engine so far. Sweet little 2.5 litre V6 OH cam with an fantasic exhaust note! Fitted Bilstien shocks last weekend all round. Exellent now. Got a few bits of rust to tidy up. Mate from work is gonna do that for me. Nothing major. Then Gonna lower the front and shout it a set of Simmons 3 piece wheels. And new brembo cross drilled and slotted rotors and maybe some AP calipers..? The suspension set is swish too. Dedion rear end and tortion rod front which will get a slightly heavier sway bar and nolathene bushes. Insides very tidy being a one owner. Just a Momo wheel for there.
So this is could very nearly be my DREAM machine! Or someone elses when finished which could allow me to start looking for my GTO... Yeah right! the Mrs would flip! :|

Are you going to order in a Hawaiian shirt as well ? hehe M8's uncle got a similar looking 1 to your dream machine Timbowe it has enzo on the plate, when my m8 got married years ago i polished my honda prelude up that i was quite proud of to drive into the wedding but his bloody uncle stole me thunder when he turned into the church carpark before me in his shiny red ferrari lolololl
Whats your Alfa's top speed Timbowe,if i remember correctly incredibly high ? 8-)

I think this one would fit me nice. Everyone needs a 100 h.p. dirt bike. A $20,000 BMW tank, bullet proof.
-
Or maybe............... NO NO NO!!! Wake me up it's got to be a bad dream..........
-
Danger4u2 any idea what the 100 H.P beamer weighs ? The second bike it looks like something crossed between a mad max and flinstones vehicle lolol :-D
-
ENZO
-
Is that a fighter plane or a car Alan ?
-
They only made 499 of them and now the are going for 2 mill!
-
The BMW HP 2 weight is 386 pounds dry, that's why I say it's a tank. I was wrong about the H.P. it's listed as 105 H.P. If I had money I would have one. You could hop on the highway at 100 miles an hour and be at the dirt track in no time. I would not like getting it stuck in the mud. You would have to have a 4X4 to pull it out.
$20,000 dollars is steep, lets see.... that's 6 near new KX500's.

2 mill Alan wow - hot looking car, would the build quality be as good as a porshe though for a 10th of the price ? (the old supply and demand) Danger4U2 thats alot of legends for one beamer lolol :-)
-
I myself am a fairly simple man, I had a Grand National in High School but I'd take the '87 GNX over anything else out there.
-
Or maybe............... NO NO NO!!! Wake me up it's got to be a bad dream..........
I love that bike I have to build one!
-
Yeah Paul i too am a simple man lolol and prefer the Cubic Inch formula than hi-tec :-D
-
Enzo's are sure nice but a little inpractable for nearly every day use. Specially in this country. Service costs are absolutly astronomical. But if you have the $$ to own one that is not going to mater.
Kiwi the GTV has an impressive open road speed allright! Estimated 230-240 kph. Which is fast for our roads! Shes a licence blower!
-
Yeah u watch those mufty's between the garden city and timmers i seen this dude on the telly from Auckland this week showing his $480 000 1 off some property tycoon, 4 secs to a 100 km/hr what you reackon the old KX 5 would do it in to the old NZ speed limit ?
-
Depends on the KX, my R1 is rated for 2.7 0-60. I'm sure I can't run it that fast? I'm pretty good on a launch so it feels better and after all the work, my KX could actually pull it to close to 90. Then my R1 hooks up hits the powerband and is gone. It is going to depend on your gearing, engine, swingarm for the KX. I had to extend my swingarm just to keep the front end close to the ground to be able to launch.
-
Mine is simple. Tried of riding old bikes but atleast am riding.
-
Hehe Its a pretty simliar colour to my 1990 lookks like they went full circle with the colour range
-
my dream machine is the one i`ve got!! can`t beat that power
-
i already have my dream machine but as for a car it would be the 03/04 SVT cobra with a Kenne bell supercharger 600 plus hp for around 30k..cant beat that..
-
FastKX500 is that a KX80 ?
-
FastKX500 is that a KX80 ?

Funny all the different views on " What is Your Dream Machine" ! I took it to mean my fantasy of the most unobtainable machine you could think of! That is unless maybe if you won the really big lotto. So that is why I chose the Enzo because not only do you have the money but you have to be invited to buy one. :|
I am picking up my 06 2500HD GMC pickup today and that has been dream for a long time! And Yep! DuraMax with the six speed Allison! :-o :-o :-o
I will ad some pic's to this post later!
Alan :-D :-) :-D :-) :-D :-) :-D
Ok guys this is my new Jimmy Diesel ride!
My wife and I took it out for a ride when I got home tonight. I just couldn't believe the power! We drove it up over a pass that goes from 4,000 ft. to 8500 ft. and I had it in cruse set at 55 mph and it was in 6th running 1400 RPM and it never downshifted I was amazed! I guess that's what 650 Lbs. of torque does for you! I am not wild about the wheels and tires it has on it but you got to start somewhere! Yep! "I be a happy camper" :-D :-D :-D :-) :-) :-) :-D :-D :-D 8-)

With the job that Barret-Jackson and others have done with there auctions, a nice hemi cuda is in the 7 Digit range. That makes it way out of my range.

By the way it is the same model of car used in Nash Bridges.
Dale
Congrats on the new diesel!
-
