Finished it up last night. Let me tell you a big bore bike ain't the easiest thang to start. Hoping to get out today to at least break it in and make sure every thing is fine.
I'll start with some pics of my cylinder and before she was finished. My top end was done by Eric Gorr out of Illinois www.ericgorr.com.
This is my head nice and fresh and ready to go:

The color is a called grabber green. Its a high temp, ceramic base engine enamel. I would like to have it powder coated though. But thats next winters job ;)
I actually had it out and broke in the motor with a couple of 5-10min runs. But I sprung a coolant leak at the head. What had happened was in my haste last saturday after working all day at trying to get my basement ready for plaster and dead tired but crazy excited as I had finally gotten all my parts back...........yadda yadda, long story short, I must of tightened the head to frame mount before torquing my head bolts. This cause my rear head bolts to loosen and blow my head gasket. Not a big deal a new one should be here tomorrow and I'll be back up and running tomorrow nigth ;)
I can't wait to rip on this bastard! Although I've never quite kick over any thing like this before. My first impression of this bike...........its a mans bike ;)
