Ive pulled everything off my cylinder to send it off for replating and have noticed grooves along the bridge in the powervalve port that lead to small chips on the inside of the cylinder.

Anyone know why this would be happening? A problem with the vavles?

Check power valve assembly carefully , anything worn replace . they will break and cause much unwanted damage , hopefully there new ones avaliable , seem to me kawasaki did not make no were near enough of these power valve parts . i say the barrel will need work in that area as well , it all fixable with enough coin .
