Title: 1998 KX250 Build
Post by: VikingKing85 on June 03, 2019, 04:52:32 PM
Trying to find a factory style 98 KX250 clutch actuator like on RC's 98 SR250. Tried to post several times but it says upload folder is full. Thanks in advance.

Yes sir, that was me and that is what I’m looking for. I’ve talked to a guy in the Netherlands that supposedly had them. Then he sent me to a guy in Scotland, but neither had them. At this point, I would pay to have it fabricated if I had to.

Ok, I found the actuator... Adam Millar hooked me up and I will have it shortly. Next issue is, I tore apart the rear suspension today and found that my rear shock linkage bearings were essentially dust and the link is wallowed out so bad that I'm not sure I can even start to think about rebuilding it. Im having a really hard time finding one anywhere that fits a 1998 model. I've cross referenced part numbers from other years in this generation but they're all different. Will links from say a 97 model work? I found one that looks brand new and it looks the same, but I don't want to take the chance without knowing for sure. This is my first ground up bike build, so be patient please. Thanks.

if this is what you're looking for, the bike list shows 1997-2001 kx125 and 250
says unavailable but also says ships in 3-4 days?
