Title: Hello all, 96 kx250 rebuild

So picked up this kx last summer 500 bucks it was pretty tired someone blew out the case gasket with pressure washer, just put in carbon fiber reeds, new Wiseco piston kit, honed cylinder, fmf gnarly, fmf power core, new rental handlebars brake pads
New levers, I put the kick start shaft in wrong so it exploded the case before breaking off, so welded case and put it all back together just got done with heat cycles

This was my fault didn't preload spring when I put in kick start think that's what did it

Hi Jimbeam85, welcome to the site!  That's quite a turn around on your bike from where you bought it.  You'll have to post some video of it when you go riding.

Thank you for sure I will get some vids on here, hoping to take it either up north to manistee national forest or south to the badlands Indiana atv park next month
