Back in stock.... KX500 2 piece clutch cover adapters.
For those that don't know, this will allow you to use a KX450F clutch cover on your KX500.
YES! You will need to machine off your clutch basket area of your KX500 and weld this new adapter on. You will also need to drill and tap the holes for the fasteners. But, we did provide some pilot holes which makes drill and tapping far easier.
They are 70 USD delivered anywhere in the USA.

I was asked by a few members that once I found out how many covers I had left over that I post the info.
I have 3 covers.
They are priced according to quality.
Remember, these are used.
All of them are fully functional but there are nicks, scratches, ect.

In addition to this adapter, you will need (7) M6 x 1.0 x 20mm bolts,
A 06-15 KX450F outer clutch cover gasket,
A 06-15 KX450F outer clutch cover plug,
A 06-15 KX450F outer clutch cover and,
A 89-04 KX500 Clutch cover gasket.
Keep in mind, this cover has been ran for years on a bike.
It is not new.
Yes, it has been cleaned up but it is not perfect.
There are nicks, scratches, ect that you should expect.
Look at the pics carefully and zoom in on them.
What you see is what you will get.

I highly recommend this mod for you KX500. The pieces Sandblaster produces are very good quality and fit very well. Plus you can finally match your clutch cover and ignition covers.

If someone sends you their cover, would you modify it for them? What would you charges for that service?

It's 375 if they send me a usable cover with all the bearings, seals, gasket material, ect removed.
Return shipping in the USA with insurance is about 20 dollars.
In addition, they will need a 06-15 kx450f outer clutch cover, Gaskets,
(7) 6m x 1.0 x 20mm bolts... I love the ti bolts from eBay.
And while you are there.... I'd put in all new bearings and seals..

If you have a steel or aluminum frame conversion, you need one of these. The KX450F clutch cover comes with an oil filler built in, so you don't have to remove the pipe to get to the stock K5 filler.
