If you got your copy of this month's copy of Dirt Bike magazine, there is a feature on Destry's KX 500. In one of the pictures, there is a close up and text on the two piece clutch cover that Sandblaster provided. They talk about it for a paragraph in the story as well, but don't say where it came from.

Lol... Yeah, that was the prototype off my bike.
Apparently they had some leaking issues due to warpage.
It was on my bike for two years with no leaks.
Then again I knew where the warp was and tightened my bolts to help compensate.
I didn't even use any sealant, just a Cometic gaskets.
Since then the covers I got done have been machined before and after weld and they came out really nice.
I put them all on a surface plate to insure there are no problems.
One of the covers has a very good chance of ending up on Sean Collier's bike so he will get one of the new ones
More on that later... :-o

Destry was telling me that the 2 piece cover almost got more attention than the bike itself at the photo shoot. lol :-D
