Hey guys i'm new to these forums and was wondering if someone can help me. I'm getting ready to buy new plastics for my kx250 and was wondering what options I have for the front fender. Id like to get newest front fender as possible. I like the fender on the newer bikes and was wondering what years will work on mine? I have a 98 Kx 250. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance

you should be able to use the newest one available...keep in mind though, you may want to get a front number plate of the same year fender you get, that way the two will mate together correctly...otherwise, you'll more than likely will have to do some cutting and modifying to make them work together.

Thanks. I'd like to get a newer one like the ones on the 03-04 I think they were on some older bikes but it's hard to tell because everyone changes they're plastics over. Mine is straight all the way to the front I like the ones that have a wider front. Now to pick a color lol. Thanks again beaver!!

I run the '03 250 front on my 500, but use a '00 500 number late....the bottom of the backside of the number plate is cut/trimmed to fit...otherwise it would be elevated about 3/4" off the top of the fender....but, this is the combo I myself like.
and yes, this an older pic of my 500 from the one I sent you in my PM the other day...

Sweet bike either way. I like the combo myself. The 500 and 250 don't use the same parts?

no, but when it comes to front fenders, any one will work...rear fenders can be modified to work, as with front # plates.
-
I assuming most front fenders should work. Rear might need a little more modifying tho I assume as well. I'd like to get the fenders from a newer bike. Would give it a nice look. My frame is blue so I kinda wanna break up white/green/blue I think white would look better than black

if you use the sites search option, located in the blue menu tab at the upper left...type in "front fender, and you'll get several pages of options from other members as well.
