Title: Old exhaust identification help needed, PSI, PST?
Post by: reknelb on April 23, 2005, 04:46:59 AM
Buddy of mine bought an old 88 kx125. The guy gave him a bunch of old kx500 plastics, swing-arm and seat with it. In the lot was also a kx500  pipe, has PSI or PST exhaust on the side in fancy cursive writing. Anyone ever heard of it?

yes and its PSI, They were from the late 70's/80's .  I have one on my 86 k5, Its a real small diameter pipe, and the bike is extremely pipeee like a 2 stroke 125.  Like no bottom end or mid range.  I'm not sure if they made a torque pipe or not.  You would be able to kinda tell by diameter of pipe though.  If its large like a pro circuit Plat II, it would be a torque pipe.
